Quest for El Dorado

In Quest for El Dorado, players take on the roles of expedition leaders who have set out in search of the legendary golden land in the dense jungles of South America. Each player assembles and equips their own expedition by hiring a variety of helpers, from guides to scientists to aboriginals. They all have one goal in mind: to reach the golden border first and win all the riches for themselves. The one who chooses the best tactic will be rewarded!

In each game, you first build a route of double-sided terrain tiles. The adventurer pieces start from the starting tile and the goal is to move along the terrain hexes to the finish tile, i.e. the gate of El Dorado. Each player gets his own expedition, i.e. a face-down deck, from which he draws cards. At the beginning of the game, there is a sailor, 3 researchers and 4 travelers in the deck. At the beginning of each turn, you draw 4 cards from your deck. With these cards, you can move your game pieces and get more people and equipment for your expedition. By acquiring people and equipment, you get more cards in your deck.
